Greetings from Sunnyview. We've had some very positive experiences this past week. First and foremost, Todd came home on Sunday 10/7 for a day pass. He was so happy to be able to enjoy food, football and family. He made great progress in therapy yesterday. He was able to do a leg lift with his right leg for the first time---hooray!!! They continue to work him hard and furious. Today Todd's feeding tube was removed, he was thrilled.
The therapy team will be making a home visit tomorrow to make the house "Todd friendly" when he eventually comes home.
We would like to thank the Lawrence family for taking us under their wings since we have been here at Sunnyview. God certainly sends angels when you need them the most. Laureen's messages to my Mom, through Jennifer have been especially comforting and appreciated. It's that Mom to Mom bond.
To our friends the Carr's and Ferraro's, not a day goes by that you're not in our thoughts and prayers. To Joe and Dana: keep up the good work!!! We all need to heal so we can have a reunion.
Again, a great big hug and thank you to all that everyone has done for us. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We will be on the road to recovery for quite some time. However we know we are not alone. Praises to our Lord. God Bless.

YEAH!!! Oh what wonderful news! We can't even imagine what a wonderful feeling all of this has been for Todd and for all of you! One day at a time, and we're sure that when one of those days is at home it's even more special! And isn't it amazing how him lifting his leg for the first time can brighten everyone's life (including ours, so thanks for sharing!). God gives us suffering for a reason, sometimes we never know what it is, and it makes us all better people for it. But boy, the recovery period is such a wonderful time! Slow but SURE, and that's what's important! You're all in our Prayers every day! Please be sure to let us know if you need ANYTHING! Love, Joe and Therese Mack
GREAT News! I check the blog everyday because I want to monitor Todds progress without being a pain. I am sure Todd was thrilled to be able to come home and probably can't wait until its for good. I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers and you know you are in my thoughts daily. Love you lots and miss you.... If you need anything please let me know...Lori D

What wonderful news!!! I never doubted that Todd would overcome this obstacle. I'm sure being home did wonders! There's nothing like home! You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I know God is with you always! I love you all and please know I'm here if you need me or anything.

This is just wonderful, I check the blog to see how my buddy Todd is doing. I am still out of town working, but look forward to the day Todd can have visitors. Please let Todd know I am thinking and praying about and for him everyday. For Susie,Johnnie & family know how much love God has sent your way...feel blessed in this shaky time. Love MaryBeth
Todd and Family,
I heard of the accident a while back but didn’t realize the severity until this morning when I got an email from a mutual friend of the Zarecki's. We are all pulling for you out here in AZ. I will continue to read the updates and try to contact you when things are better. If I know TK like I knew TK back in the days you will pull through and end up with a healthy outlook and a smile on your face. Remember buddy, Humor will get you through anything! I love the autographed photo of the Wilson Sisters! I told you throwing your underwear up on stage in Massachusetts back in 86' would pay off some day! Get better brother and let’s get back in touch when you are better. I miss air banding with the Mini Oar and watching horror movies. Get well Soon!
Dave Thomas and Family!
Hi everyone-
I was thinking about you guys today and thought I'd leave you a little something somehting. I'm so happy that "Uncle Toddy" is making such wonderful progress. I'm sure he can't wait to go home. A good home cooked meal and sleeping in your own bed does wonders. :-) Thanks for keeping us all up to date with the blog. Hugs and Kisses all around.
All my love-
Marissa
