9/4 I.C.U. update

Todd is beginning to show some subtle signs of improvement. We are very happy to see that Todd began to move his lower extremities today. Although Todd's sedation has been turned off, Todd has decided not to wake up yet. As much as we are very appreciative of all the the company that Todd has received, the Dr's. have requested that we keep visitation to a minimum. We know that all of you will understand and we encourage you to keep posted of Todd's progress through this blogsite. Please continue to pray. Every day is one step closer to recovery. God Bless.

P.S. Thoughts and responses to each blog can be expressed by clicking on the comments tab at the end of each blog.

Dear Susie and family:

I appreciate the updates on Todd and want you to know that I am praying for him and you. I know how comforting God is at times like these and am thankful you are leaning on Him for support and comfort. What a testimony it is that so many people care about Todd's recovery. You will continue to be in my prayers and I will check daily on Todd's progress.

We all continue to pull hard and pray often for Todd's speedy, and full recovery. Whatever his relationship, son, brother, uncle, nephew, or friend, he has touched us all and given of himself fully and unconditionally. As long as I have known him he has always been a selfless soul standing faithfully by the "all for one, one for all" motto. Well, my dearest friend and brother, witness the army of people who's life you have positively impacted standing shoulder to shoulder crying "all for one" - we are all here for you!

A "MEND" and a "MIRACLE".
So often when we are faced with tragedy, we often ask "why" or "how could this happen"? It seems a natural human instinct to question what God has laid in our path. Throughout the past 11 very long and painful days, this family has never once questioned God....they have only reassured themselves that God is awesome and has a plan for each one of us and right now, Todd is on his journey. A journey that we all believe will send him full circle back to his family and friends. How blessed are we to be witness to the glory that has risen from this accident. How many times have you now thought about saying "I love you" to your loved one before they walk out the door? How many more times are you wanting to hug your family members? This accident has given all of us a chance to reflect on our own lives and "mend", maybe not physically like Todd, but spiritually. This my friends is a gift from God!!
So, while you pray for the mending of Todd's physical body, give thanks for the miracle of being shown the great gift of love....and give it away!
Many blessings and prayers to all of you!
