1st week at Sunnyview

To all our friends and supporters:

Tomorrow will be one week since Todd was transferred to Sunnyview Hospital and just over three weeks since his accident. We can't say enough great things about the people we have encountered. There is no doubt that God does send angels to surround and protect you.
Todd has a great team of people who actually work as a team to get Todd rehabilitated. Like we said earlier, they work him hard and they work him long so he is very tired..
They are beginning to work his muscles to build his strength and he is beginning to respond to some simple commands.
Todd's tracheotomy tube was removed yesterday. Although he is unable to speak, a speech therapist will be working with him.
We continue to trust in God and pray for a complete recovery. The unfortunate news for today is that the Dolphins are not on any of the TV stations Todd gets in his room. Todd will have to work that much harder to get out of the hospital to root his team on. Thank you all again for respecting the no visitor policy for Todd.

We're all still with you and checking daily for progress reports. Our prayers continue daily. You've got a LOT of friends responding through this site - Todd and the entire Kitsock family are truly fortunate and blessed.

I went to High School with Todd. So sorry to have to catch up with him this way. Just let him know he is in my thoughts and prayers - even all the way from Oregon.
Give him my best
My kids & I pray for him every night.

Susie, Chrissy, John and family;
It sounds like the first week at Sunnyview has been exhausting and challenging for Todd (and I'm sure all of you). Todd sounds like an amazing person and I know that he will make it through this with flying colors. My family continues to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. We will also continue to check the blog for updates. Thank you for all of your support to our family during our SICU days here at Albany Med. Sending strength and love to Todd and your family.

Stacy and the rest of the Ferraros

P.S. Susie, I hope you have someone keeping you company at night...maybe your back at home nights!!

Hi all!!!
Glad to hear that things are going well for Todd at Sunnyview. Sounds like his schedule keeps him busy and leaves him tired at the end of the day. We know that his strength and determination are two of his best assets and will help him now, more than ever! Your family is wonderful and we really miss you guys. Sending lots of thoughts, prayers and sunshine from Atlanta. We continue to pray for a full recovery. God Bless.
